Bill is a frequent guest at USA kanikapila. There are about 150 members, of which 60 or so attend the weekly kanikapila. Members receive instruction, camaraderie, and lots of group and solo (if you want to - nobody is forced) playing time at the weekly meetings, which feature a mix of Hawaiian and non-Hawaiian music with a bit of hula thrown-in for good measure. Members also have access to dozens of songs with lyrics and chords on the group's website. There is no fee to join. The only cost is a $2.00 fee to attend the weekly kanikapila.
