Everything takes longer than you think it should!.... and scheduling and waiting for the boat to arrive is certainly one of those "Takes Longer" items.

The good news that we did receive our order from SamWill which has been months in the making. SamWill is a small builder of premium ukuleles that we are always excited to receive. Their construction is "squeaky-clean", and their ukuleles have excellant sound... even the less expensive models have a great sound.

Well, what did we get that is new and exciting?

First of all we have a nice assortment of Talina "Slim Line" Sopranos. These sopranos are just 1-3/8 inches thick.... which is great for back-packing and going anywhere. What astonished us was the great BIG sound that comes from these thin sopranos. Another feature is that these thin little beauties are super-easy to hold and to play.

The Talina "Star Light" sopranos are regular dimensions. These sopranos are bound-body sapele construction. They have all the good-stuff you want in a soprano, and we left out the high-cost items. For the modest price, I don't know where there is a better sounding ukulele. The Star Lights come with a good looking gig bag or blue soft case as you select.

The Talina "Silhouettes" are concert size ukuleles, and come with a nice assortment of finishes in flame mahogany and quilted maple. Nicely finished, great sound and easy to play. These are a welcome addition to our Talina Ukulele Line.

Also we received an assortment of new fold-up ukulele stands that are nice for their low cost.

What we like about the Talina ukuleles is that we can pick and choose the features that really help the sound and easy-playing of the instrument.... and we can omit the odds-and-ends which just cost extra money but bring little benefits to the ukulele player.

Lesson learned again..... Slow boats from China are slow..... really slow. Yet, these good ukuleles are worth the wait!
