HANGER BOLT for some vintage Banjo Ukes and Banjos
On some vintage banjo ukuleles and banjos there is a wooden strut that is an extension of the neck that is used for anchoring the neck and the tailpiece.
Various manufacturers had their own parts so there is no "standard" part that fits all.
On some banjo ukes this wooden strut may be small, so be careful that this hanger bolt does not split the wooden strut.
To anchor the tail piece, some instruments had a hex lug and some used an angle bracket. On vintage instruments sometimes parts are not available and the craftsman has to make them.
