Grover 88b tuning pegs are made for headstocks that are 1/2" and thicker.

These pegs are like the Grover 85b except longer for thicker headstocks.

In the event you find these pegs too long for your instrument (as with a tapered thickness headstock) you can shorten the shaft to the exact fit you need.

These are identical to the old Champion tuning pegs from the 1920's
