This is really a fine fix for tuning problems. Requires drilling a recess for the mounting bushing.... wonderful tuners......

I like the two confined friction areas that does not depend on the tuner rubbing on the headstock of the instrument.

Yes, the older ukuleles had smaller diameter friction tuner shafts, and none of the modern friction tuning pegs will fit them without increasing the diameter of the hole thru the headstock.
